(Editor's Note: When this video first opens, it appears that the object in question is nothing more than a plane; it looks like a small plane in the distance, and moves like a plane.
However, as it gets closer to the camera, you can see it is not a plane at all. It appears to be a disc-shaped object with a cupola.  In any case check it out.

Spielberg To Create UFO Alien Abduction Website

[EDIT]  Mac:  Quite a few places are running this story, like me (to my shame) assumed the article's author knew what they were on about. I found out about this being an older item from an Australian group and done some further digging. The source for the article came from iO9 Spielberg To Make Facebook For UFO Abductees dated May 21, 2008 1:40 PM. In turn their information came from Techcrunch which took the idea back further to March 2008: Steven Spielberg's Ghost/UFO Social Network To Be Called The Rising | TechCrunch Five years later there is still no website but there was this documentary produced by Spielberg with a similar name: The Rising Rebuilding Grounnd Zero by Steven Spielberg on Disovery - National Cable TV | Examiner.com It would seem he recycled the name for somthing else.... I found out this morning at about 3.30 am and then proceeded to let everyone know where I had posted, everyone equals a membership of 110,395 people accross forty FB groups plus Evo etc...

Still at least we all now know what the hell is going on lol....

The popular Science Fiction Hollywood director Steven Spielberg is on the verge of creating a new social networking website which involves and dedicated to the Paranormal & Alien Abduction encounters. His new venture will encourage users to share their own extraterrestrial encounters and experiences. Tech Crunch has reported that Spielberg has already purchased the domain names relating to "The Rising" and "Rising" and we should see this site up and running this summer 2013. The Rising will also have it's own original video content that is said to investigate Ghost and Alien Sightings. Further more there will be a permanent host on hand no word yet as to who that will be.

UFO Sightings in Melbourne: Three Bright Odd Objects, One Flies Low-level at 'Ultraspeed' [VIDEO]

UFO sightings is not uncommon in Australia. Over the weekend, another UFO Australia video made it to YouTube, this time, three bright objects were filmed in triangular formation at daytime in Melbourne. The clip gets interesting by the time one of the UFOs moved at ultraspeed as it zipped across the horizon.

The video starts with an image of three bright orbs in the sky. The bright objects initially look like a constellation until each light started making subtle-to-obvious movements.

"This UFO sighting was filmed during daytime in Melbourne, Australia. Notice at 1:52, you can see one takes off at super speed low-level," reads the video description. The video was uploaded by FindingUFO.
At 1:52 into the video, one of the strange flying objects made an erratic and fast motion, unexpected of any conventional aircraft.
User freygy posted an interesting comment (unedited): "what day? feb 9th? saw the same thing in Cincinnati 10 pm. but these 3 were followed by at least 11 more. the first 3 flew in then disappeared, followed by others that came in in groups of two, that disappeared in the same unnatural way. im in no way a ufo fanatic, i have pictures of 2 of them if anyones interested. dont know how to post them on here."
Another user, AlienPeace1, commented: "beautiful orb triangle. that's them."
Scroll down to watch the video and see for yourself. What could these strange flying objects be?

Tom DeLonge hints at a UFO film in the works

Tom DeLonge fans were teased today when the musician uploaded a photo of his studio to his account on the photo sharing app Instagram. The description published with the photo simply reads, “My studio, my office…..my home away from home #JupiterSound, #WorkingOnUFOFilm.” It’s this “#WorkingOnUFOFilm” that has curious fans buzzing on the Internet.

So is DeLonge really working on a movie about UFOs? That is the question his fans are asking. There isn’t any additional information currently available that would shed light on the mystery. But those familiar with DeLonge, who is known by many as a vocalist and guitar player in the band Blink-182, are quite aware of his affinity for UFO research.

'Wild Thing' Rock Star Reg Presley Demanded Answers To UFO Conspiracies

By Lee Speigel

When Reg Presley died on Feb. 4 from cancer at 71, stories lightly touched upon a side of his life that was separate from his role as the lead singer of the '60s rock group The Troggs.
Presley, best known for the garage band classic "Wild Thing," was obsessed with UFOs, extraterrestrials and crop circles -- those often-mysterious patterns that turn up unexpectedly in farmers' fields, most notably in the U.K.

Presley and The Troggs continued to tour all the way into 2010, when Presley suffered a serious stroke, resulting in his retirement from the music business.
Even while The Troggs were touring, Presley's interest in UFOs and crop circles led to his hosting a local cable TV show in the U.K. called "The Reg Presley UFO Show," and he later published a book, "Wild Things They Don't Tell Us," in 2002.
In the mid-1990s, Presley began devoting "huge amounts of time and resources to personal investigations of what he felt were neglected areas of science -- notably alien spacecraft, lost civilizations and alchemy," reports The Telegraph.
According to The Telegraph, in 2006, Presley talked about how he'd respond if aliens landed and invited him into their ship.
"I hope I would have the bottle to go. Because I'd like to ask them a lot of bloody questions. And they've probably got all the answers," he said. "These beings may be 20 million years in advance of us. What kind of technology must they have? You could come back to Earth and not know a soul on the planet. But perhaps you would have seen something that would save the whole human race. And maybe some people have done that."

Illuminati to launch giant green monster into space

The Latino Review reports that the ending of Marvel's The Avengers 2 will see Mark Ruffalo's Hulk lost in space and headed for his very own movie in which the temperamental superhero becomes a gladiatorial champion on an alien world. Planet Hulk will be based on Greg Pak’s 2006 storyline.

But just how does Hulk end up in space in the first place? According to The Latino Review, The Avengers 2 will offer its own take on the Illuminati – a “secret order” possibly comprised of Doctor Strange, Black Bolt, Charles Xavier, Reed Richards, Namor and Iron Man. It is this secret order that banishes The Hulk into space.
Planet Hulk was previously adapted into a direct-to-DVD feature in 2010.

Teen aliens on TV

The CW has commissioned a pilot for Oxygen, which, according to TVLine.com will chronicle “an epic romance between a human girl and an alien boy when he and eight others of his kind (The Orion 9) are integrated into a suburban high school 10 years after they and hundreds of others landed on Earth and were immediately consigned to an internment camp where they’ve been imprisoned ever since.”

Life on Mars’ Josh Appelbaum, Andre Nemec and Scott Rosenberg are on board as Executive Producers.

‘Transformers 4’ will “freshen the franchise”

With Transformers 4 due to shoot in May, director Michael Bay spoke with Forbes recently about what we can expect from his movie:

"We
re going to start off smaller," Bay told Forbes. "Theres a brand new cast. To freshen the franchise, weve redesigned everything from top to bottom. The history of the first three movies is still there. We start four years later and theres a reason why were meeting a new cast."

Bay’s new cast includes Mark Wahlberg (who recently stated that Transformers 4 was the most important movie of his career!) and Jack Reynor.

Bay continues:

"I said that 3 was going to be my last one. Paramount was letting me do 'Pain & Gain' and the 'Transformers' ride was opening at Universal and it was bittersweet to think of passing it off. I wanted to set it up on a really sure footing and to bring someone else in on that, it would have been overwhelming."

Although Transformers 4 is offering a fresh start for the franchise, Bay stresses that this sequel will not be a reboot:

"We keep the 'Transformers' the way they were, it
s just four years later. Theres a reason the Transformers are redesigned. Were trying to broaden the franchise and give it more places to go."

Transformers 4 is scheduled for release June 27, 2014.

‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ finds its leading man

James Gunn’s Guardians of the Galaxy has found its leading man. Deadline reports that Zero Dark Thirty star Chris Pratt will play Peter Quill (aka Star-Lord) in Marvel’s upcoming alien-themed movie.

Raised on Earth, the Quill character learns that his father was from outer space and is drawn into an intergalactic conflict that eventually leads to him becoming the leader of the team. This team protects the solar system from “an evil alien race”.

Guardians of the Galaxy is expected to be Marvel’s most ‘offbeat’ movie to date. It is scheduled for release August 1, 2014.

Star People: New Book Deals with Aliens in Ancient America

The modern notion that humankind may have been influenced in ancient times by an intelligence far exceeding our own is not only popular; it’s almost endemic to Western culture. Among the faithful believers in paleo-contact, as Carl Sagan termed it, mankind’s earliest innovations were the result of an alien intervention, either by beings who showed us techniques that would lead to the formation of a civilized society, or by direct manipulation of our genetic substructure for purposes of speeding along the natural evolutionary process.
Conversely, more skeptical thinkers feel that to place our faith in an alien intervention in ancient times only works to undermine the spirit of human ingenuity. How, if aliens were responsible for the path we took toward becoming more advanced, contemplative thinkers, would these alien “gods” have managed to evolve themselves? It begs the question as to whether, going further back in the lineage of advanced intelligences in our universe, someone (or something) might not have been capable of doing just the same to our proposed alien teachers.

Ancient Alien Wall Painting

The paleo-contact approach is most often invoked by those who seek to find common ground between UFO reports, abduction encounters, and the mythologies of American Indians. However, a recent book on the subject, Encounters With Star People (Anomalist Books, 2012) looks at the phenomenon from both an historic perspective, as well as from the standpoint that modern day encounters with what many Natives call “Star People” are still occurring today.
“Ancient astronaut theorists maintain that Star People have been visiting Earth since the beginning of time,” writes Ardy Sixkiller Clarke, a Professor Emeritus at Montana State University and author Encounters With Star People. “To support their claims, they often portray the legends of American Indian tribes as proof of human interaction with the Star People. There are also many [modern] stories of UFO encounters, crashes, and extraterrestrials by adventurers, cowboys, military men, and miners in the Northern Plains.”

Indeed there are. One of the stories described by Clarke in a chapter titled “The Man Who Shot an Alien” details the story of Chauncey, an aging Native whose story didn’t involve the literal shooting of an “alien,” but instead a strange encounter with a “spaceman” who kindly attempted to take Blue Son, his faithful family dog. The story goes that a small “exploration” craft (some variety of small UFO) had apparently landed behind a butte near Chauncey’s home, and subsequently a thin, ghostly pale man appeared who apparently conversed with him. After their visit, Chauncey and Blue Son walked the visitor back to his vessel, at which time the alien being was said to have taken interest in the fact that the dog obeyed when Chauncey commanded it to “heel.” At this point, the spaceman gestured in such a way as to suggest that the creature board his vessel and join him, at which point Chauncey had laid his gun across his arm, merely as a measure of intimidation, expressing that the visitor be along his way… and without Chauncey’s dog.
The more modern reports of alien interaction and UFO sightings detailed in the book are all very unique in this regard, especially since they often seem to express an ongoing interaction between natives and the Star People, to the point of almost becoming commonplace in their culture and society. A number of reports also appear in the book that cover aspects of ufology that have more conventional parallels, including UFOs hovering over weapons sites, underground bases, alien abduction, and popular myths associated with spacefaring alien beings working as “liberators” of humankind, in some capacity.
Altogether, it is very interesting to see a thorough study of American Indian tales as they relate to the stories of Star People and related phenomenon, but not entirely having to do with the conventional notions of “Native American mythology” associated with legends that may, in truth, only bear some relation to UFOs today (keeping in mind, all the while, that many modern tribes still maintain the view that present day UFO phenomenon actually is a manifestation or, perhaps even a continuation of known visitations that occurred in the ancient past). Whether the mythos surrounding UFOs necessarily plays into a more complex, modern counterpart involving actual visitation by extraterrestrials is anyone’s guess; but the stories Clarke relates in her Encounters With Star People nonetheless inspire a lot of questions about the present day phenomenon. It is a field of study which, if anything, remains rife amidst the Native cultures in modern day America, and certainly points to some pervasive element underlying our legends and folklore that could, at very least, have some strange physical counterpart.
