(Editor's Note: Not a lot of information is given by the submitter, except to give the country, Colombia, and the date, November, 2012.
The video was difficult to work with as part of it was out of focus, and all of it was very shaky. We did what we could to take out the shakiness.
The object could well be nothing more than a kite, or other aerial fancy. If you look closely, at times you can see something hanging below it. See what you think.)

World renowned UFO author and researcher Michael Lindemann present the facts on how the government has worked to shape the public view about UFOs and extraterrestrial life. Now referred to as the "spin factor," we find that our current views are based on sensationalistic Hollywood propaganda. Government deception, secret underground bases, unexplained cattle mutilations, secret advanced technology and alien abductions are just a few of the many topics covered in this intelligently researched program exposing the misinformation and the facts behind the truth.

UFO Sightings In Canada Doubled In 2012: Report

By Toronto Sun

UFO sightings in Canada are at an all-time high, according to Canadian sky-gazers.
The annual report from Ufology Research documented 1,981 UFO sightings in Canada in 2012, more than double 2011's record 986.
While 40% of Canada's UFOs were spotted in Ontario, every province save Saskatchewan and P.E.I. saw mysterious lights or objects in the sky.
But that doesn't necessarily mean little green men.
In fact, Ufology Research channels Scully more than Mulder in explaining the growing phenomenon.
Among its theories: "More secret or classified military exercises and overflights are occurring over populated areas; more people are unaware of the nature of conventional or natural objects in the sky; more people are taking the time to observe their surroundings; more people are able to report their sightings with easier access to the Internet and portable technology; or even that the downturn in the economy is leading to an increased desire by some people to look skyward for assistance."

Former Congress Members Pledge Support For UN UFO Conference

We recently interviewed Stephen Bassett, organizer of the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure, to get his thoughts on how well he felt the event went, whether it met his expectations, and what his upcoming plans are to continue his efforts for ET disclosure.
In the interview, Bassett says he will be taking this issue to the United Nations. Today his Paradigm Research Group sent out a press release with the details of a statement calling for the United Nations to sponsor “a world conference addressing the possible evidence for an extraterrestrial presence engaging this planet.” The statement was signed by four of the six former congress members who made up the committee that heard five days of testimony from UFO witnesses and researchers last week during the Citizen Hearing on Disclosure at the National Press Club in Washington D.C.
The statement says the signers pledge support for the effort, and was signed by Congresswoman Carolyn Kilpatrick, Senator Mike Gravel, Congresswoman Lynn Woolsey, and Congressman Merrill Cook. According to the statement, Congresswoman Darlene Hooley and Congressman Roscoe Bartlett were, “Unable to sign due to post-employment restrictions on Congressional Members and officers.”
Bassett says they intend to approach several member countries of the United Nations to move their idea forward. The proposal states:
Whereas: given the unfolding scientific understanding of the number of potentially life supporting planets within Earth’s home galaxy, it would be the height of arrogance to assert that humans are the only sentient beings within that galaxy;
Whereas: given that credible witnesses have brought forth overwhelming scientific evidence documenting the current presence of unidentified and unexplained aerial craft that many believe to reflect an extraterrestrial intelligence;
And Whereas: given the enormous global implications if these craft are, indeed, of extraterrestrial origin, such an issue is a matter for the General Assembly of the United Nations;
Therefore, we the undersigned request the Citizen Hearing Foundation use its offices to organize interested parties and raise the funds necessary to pursue a global campaign to convince one or more nations to propose a resolution within the General Assembly calling for United Nations sponsorship of a world conference addressing the possible evidence for an extraterrestrial presence engaging this planet.
Witnesses from several countries were present at the Citizen Hearing, including those whose governments are more open to the investigation of the UFO phenomenon. Bassett hopes it is one or more of these countries that step forward to sponsor the proposal.

Nearly 100,000 People Have Signed Up To Go To Mars

The number of applicants who have signed up to be considered for a one-way trip to Mars is nearing 100,000.
The not-for-profit company Mars One began accepting applications from astronaut hopefuls in April 2013. According to a press release issued by the company on May 7, more than 78,000 people applied to the astronaut selection program in the first two weeks of the nineteen week application process. People from more than 120 countries have applied. And as the Daily Galaxy reports, “Most applications so far have come from the U.S. (17324), followed by China (10241), United Kingdom (3581), Russia, Mexico, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Argentina and India.”
Although the reported 78,000 applications sounds impressive, it is technically an overstatement at this point. The application process requires applicants to pay a fee and upload a video expressing why he or she wants to go to Mars permanently. NewSpace Journal recently interviewed Mars One CEO and co-founder Bas Lansdorp and asked him about the 78,000 figure. Lansdorp explained that, in the application process, “People register, they pay, they start filling out their information, they have the movie to make, the movie to upload.” Lansdorp then clarified that the 78,000 figure represents the number of people who have “at least done the first step.”
Mars One plans to establish the first colony on Mars in 2023. And searching for life on Mars will be part of the research these colonists will conduct.
Mars One will continue to accept applications until August 31, 2013. The applicants will be reviewed and narrowed down to 50-100 candidates. The company explains that “four rounds make the selection process, which will come to an end in 2015; Mars One will then employ 28-40 candidates, who will train for around 7 years. Finally an audience vote will elect one of groups in training to be the envoys of humanity to Mars.”
