Is southern India’s ‘alien rain’ proof of extraterrestrial life?

Some scientists believe red rain that fell in India is proof of extraterrestrial life.

The Huffington Post explains that, “Between July 25 and September 23, 2001, the Indian state of Kerala was drenched by bizarre red-colored rain unlike any seen previously.” Kerala-based physicist Godfrey Louis analyzed the rain water, and to his amazement, the particles appeared to be alive. Louis believes the particles are extraterrestrial spores that were hitching a ride on a meteorite that exploded over Kerala before the red rainstorm. This theory is supported by the fact that, according to Louis’ research, these extremophiles are able to continue replicating at temperatures exceeding 572 degrees Fahrenheit.

According to the Huffington Post, professor Chandra Wickramasinghe believes the “alien rain” theory is “not only plausible, but likely.” In an upcoming episode of The Unexplained Files, Wickramasinghe opines, “The existence of life outside the Earth is amazingly regarded as an extraordinary hypothesis, but I would argue that the extraordinary hypothesis is that this tiny minute piece of dust we call the Earth is the center of life in the universe and that no life exists even next door to it.”

Mysterious lights above Yakima, U.S.

"YAKIMA, Wash. -- A lot of you got in touch with us asking about some strange lights in the sky last night. There is no alien invasion to report.
KIMA looked into it and found out a lot of you were also getting in touch with the UFO Center. Calls came in from Yakima, Zillah, Toppenish and Sunnyside.
We got some answers from the Yakima Training Center. The center says the lights were coming from some military exercises.
“There were a lot of people, the whole block was outside and lined up you know. At first everyone was like, kind of had the same reaction, 'oh no way it's this, that'”, said JR who watched the whole event.
The Yakima Training Center says the lights were either coming from illumination rounds or military beacons that can reflect light when it's foggy."

The hunters reopen famous police cases involving mass UFO sightings such as the 1994 Trumbull County, Ohio and Holland, Michigan sightings and the 2000 Millstadt, Illinois case where 911 dispatchers were flooded with calls and police radio chatter of strange lights moving slowly through the sky.

Number of confirmed alien planets nearing 1,000

The first planets outside our solar system were discovered in 1992. In the short span of two decades, the number of confirmed exoplanets has exploded. The University of Puerto Rico at Arecibo’s Planetary Habitability Laboratory maintains a tally of confirmed planets. According to this Habitable Exoplanets Catalog, nearly 1,000 exoplanets have been confirmed.

NASA’s Kepler space telescope has been a valuable tool in the hunt for alien worlds. So it is unfortunate that the telescope’s mission was forced to end in the summer of 2013 after two of spacecraft’s four reaction wheels failed, eliminating the ability of the telescope to maintain positioning. But scientists are confident that many more planets will be discovered after sifting through Kepler’s four years worth of data. Since its launch in 2009, Kepler has identified more than 3,500 planet candidates, and scientists expect at least ninety percent will end up being confirmed.
The Kepler mission team is exploring alternative uses for the handicapped telescope. And although its mechanical woes are a blow to the search for alien planets, Kepler is not the only planet-hunting telescope.

The MEarth Project, an astronomical survey that is using robotic telescopes at the Fred Lawrence Whipple Observatory on Mt. Hopkins, Arizona to search for Earth-like exoplanets, detected Gliese 1214 b in 2009. This nearby alien planet was confirmed by the European Space Agency’s High Accuracy Radial velocity Planet Searcher in Chile, and was determined to be six times the size of the Earth.
Scientists recently announced that, by using the Subaru Telescope in Mauna Kea, Hawaii, they were able to conclude that Gliese 1214 b’s atmosphere contains significant amounts of water, but not liquid water like on Earth. According to Norio Narita of the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan, “As the temperature and pressure are so high, water is not in a usual form (vapor, liquid, or solid), but in an ionic or plasma form at the bottom the atmosphere — namely the interior — of Gliese 1214 b.” Space.com explains, “Though water is often considered a necessary ingredient for life by scientists, Narita doesn’t think that the super-Earth will be promising due to its close orbit, which lies within the star’s habitable zone, the region where liquid water can exist.”
But even if Gliese 1214 b is void of life, that’s OK. A recent estimate suggests that sixty billion planets in the Milky Way galaxy alone may support life. The previous estimate was doubled after researchers considering how cloud cover might help an alien planet support life.

And by using data from NASA’s Kepler and Spitzer space telescopes, astronomers just created the first cloud map of a planet beyond our solar system. The Daily Galaxy explains, “The findings are an early step toward using similar techniques to study the atmospheres of planets more like Earth in composition and size.”
Several tools, both Earth-based and space-based, are currently searching for alien worlds. And future tools like the James Webb Space Telescope will allow scientists to better analyze the atmospheres of exoplanets. Although the search for extraterrestrial life began long ago, it’s still in its infancy. So many exciting discoveries have already been made. And although the number of confirmed exoplanets is nearing 1,000, the most exciting discoveries are surely yet to come.

UFOs Hover Over Smoking Ship, Then Vanish

A number of unusual glowing lights recently appeared in the sky near a smoking ship reportedly somewhere off the California coast. They moved in that dazzling way that gets UFO enthusiasts excited, lighting up the sky.
Then, one-by-one, the lights disappear in different directions away from the ship.
According to the YouTube poster of the video, looknowtv, these unidentified objects were "recorded in California from the viewpoint of the beach. You can see a few UFOs flying over or behind this ship which appears to have a large amount of smoke coming from it."
The lack of further details from the videographer and YouTube poster raises many red flags and questions of credibility here.
So, HuffPost showed the video to one of our resident UFO image and video analysts, Marc Dantonio, owner of FX Models, a company that creates special miniature prototypes for government and military projects.
"Remarkably, this does look like something I have seen!" Dantonio told HuffPost in an email. "To me, it looks like these are jets with afterburners on, heading away from the camera."
Dantonio refers to a new radar-evading military fighter jet -- the F-35 -- with the capability of hovering like a helicopter. The F-35 is currently undergoing successful tests.
"This could be one of the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter wings doing training over the ocean where the afterburner is allowed," Dantonio suggested.
"As the first one peels off to the lower right, the aspect ratio of its circular exhaust and afterburner shape changes with respect to the camera and gradually fades away. Similarly, the others -- except for one -- follow suit. So, to me, this looks exactly like a tactical training mission which happened to be seen over a ship that looks like its engines were being cycled up."
Dantonio is also convinced the video doesn't show flares in the sky.
"Although the initial video event shows something that looks like flares, the subsequent behavior does not match the expected behavior," he said. "Parachute flares would not appear to hang in the sky like this unless they were quite far away, perhaps 30-plus miles away when seen."

Americas Book of Secrets - The Ancient Astronaut Cover Up

The notion of a universe inhabited by alien creatures can be found just about everywhere in American popular culture. But could mankind really have been visited by alien beings from other worlds? And might the truth have been kept secret for centuries? Ancient Astronaut theorists Erich von Daniken and Giorgio Tsoukalos, along with Apollo 14 astronaut Edgar Mitchell, journalists, scientists and government officials explore the mainstream resistance to the idea that aliens have been visiting the Earth for centuries. Has the United States government conspired with other nations to hide the facts about mankind's extraterrestrial past? Could there really be a global cover-up of ancient alien activity? One that shields the public from a profound knowledge that, if revealed, could shatter the very fabric of our civilization?

UFO captured on home security camera

Published on 3 Oct 2013 By jcattera

Amazing UFO footage that I captured on my home security camera on the night of Oct 2, 2013 around 11pm in the evening in my front yard in Southeast MI, and I'm about 8 miles north of an air national guard base...wondering if they caught this on their radar?

Object appears at:
0:30
0:37 - 0:55 (light from the object refracting from lense on security cam). This would be very hard to simulate using CGI.
0:54 (laser)
3:29
4:40 (laser)
4:53
5:48 - 5:54, the UFO was so bright that it lit up a few trees for a moment before shooting back up into the sky, and in my opinion, impossible to recreate using CGI.

Here's the picture of the treeline during the daytime....
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5vhOqY...

The UFO appears to be scanning the ground with a green laser (the laser beam can be seen on the trees too). The laser beam clearly starts small from the object and fans out into a larger cone as it gets closer to the ground. In my opinion, impossible for someone to be on the ground creating an inverted cone back to the object, and then to be able to track and follow the object's every move at the same time.
This recording is from one of my multiple security cameras that is currently installed on the front of my house. This particular camera is pointing south towards the road (my house is set back about 300ft from the road).
I'm also planning on repositioning one of my security cameras that is currently pointing north in the upward direction in the hopes to gather more footage if the object decides to come back. This north direction would be pointing toward my pond in my backyard. It would be interesting to capture one gathering up water (for what purpose? I'm not sure), but I've heard reports of them using our water.
Also, someone asked why I had my home security camera pointed up into the sky before the incident. Btw, great question! Since there's been a lot ton of fireballs reported all over the world in the last 3 weeks, I thought I might be able to catch one on video, but I never expected to capture this!
The security camera only runs at 15 frame per second. Sorry, I wish I had a faster camera. I'm hoping this thing comes back for another visit soon because it seems friendly too me. Maybe, It'll drop off a superhero flying suit next time! Like on the 80's TV Series, "The Greatest American Hero". :)

Dr. Michio Kaku Admits UFOs Are Real and Not Man Made

UFOs, Nazis, and Secret Projects

By Nick Redfern

Although such things are less common today, in decades-past there were far more than a few UFO encounters in which the witnesses reported how their vehicles – whether cars, trucks, or even motorbikes - were adversely affected by the presence of a UFO. Such events have become known in Ufology as “vehicle interference” cases. Typically, engines, lights, and radios are mysteriously affected by the presence of the unknown craft. Only when the strange vehicle exits the area does normality return.
One classic case that falls firmly into this particular category – and which will give you an idea of the nature of the phenomenon – was investigated by the British Royal Air Force Police in early 1962. In part, the now-declassified file on the affair states:
“Mr. Ronald Wildman of Luton, a car collection driver, was traveling along the Aston Clinton road at about 0330 hrs. on 9th February 1962 when he came upon an object like a hovercraft flying approximately 30 feet above the road surface. As he approached he was traveling at 40 mph but an unknown force slowed him down to 20 mph over a distance of 400 yrd., then the object suddenly flew off.”

I could go on and on with numerous other, similar cases, but I’m sure you get the picture. Instead, I’m going to do something else – namely, I am going to offer data that suggests so-called vehicle interference events are not the work of all-powerful extraterrestrials, after all. Their origins may be much closer to home than many might suspect possible.
In 1957 – as documentation which has surfaced under the Freedom of Information Act shows – intelligence agents of the US Government interviewed a man who (and I quote from the official records), was “…born February 19, 1926, in the State of Warsaw, Poland, and was brought from Poland as a Prisoner of War to Gut Alt Golssen approximately 30 miles east of Berlin, Germany, in May, 1942, where he remained until a few weeks after the end of World War II.
“He spent the following years at Displaced Persons Camps at Kork, Strasburg, Offenburg, Milheim and Freiburg, Germany. He attended a radio technician school at Freiburg and for about a year was employed in a textile mill at Laurachbaden, Germany. He arrived in the United States at New York, May 2, 1951, via the SS General Stewart as a Displaced Person.”
The document continues that at some point in 1944, while still a POW, the man was en-route to work in a field a short distance north of Gut Alt Golssen. A tractor - being driven to the field by a German - suddenly stalled on a stretch of road that ran through a dense, swampy area. No machinery or other vehicle was visible, although a noise was heard described as a high-pitched whine, similar to that produced by a large electric generator.
A German SS guard quickly appeared and talked briefly with the German driver of the tractor, who waited five to ten minutes, after which the noise stopped and the tractor engine started normally. Approximately 3 hours later in the same swampy area, but away from the road where the POW crew was cutting hay, the source of the story surreptitiously observed a circular enclosure, approximately 100 to 150 yards in diameter.

nazi-ufo

It was protected from full view by a tarpaulin-type wall, around 50 feet high, behind which a very strange vehicle was seen to rise slowly and vertically to a height sufficient to clear the wall. It then moved horizontally, a short distance out of the man’s view, which was partly obstructed by trees.
According to the U.S. Intelligence files: ”This vehicle, observed from approximately 500 feet, was described as circular in shape, 75 to 100 yards in diameter, and about 14 feet high, consisting of dark gray stationary top and bottom sections, five to six feet high. The approximate three foot middle section appeared to be a rapidly moving component producing a continuous blur similar to an aeroplane propeller, but extending the circumference of the vehicle so far as could be observed.
“The noise emanating from the vehicle was similar but of somewhat lower pitch than the noise previously heard. The engine of the tractor again stalled on this occasion and no effort was made by the German driver to start the engine until the noise stopped, after which the engine started normally.”
Official records on this curious matter continue: “Uninisulated metal, possibly copper, cables one and one-half inch to two inches in diameter, on and under the surface of the ground, in some places covered by water, were observed on this and previous occasions, apparently running between the enclosure and a small concrete column-like structure between the road and enclosure.”
The documents add that the area in question was not visited by the man again until shortly after the end of the war, when it was observed the cables had been removed and the previous locations of the concrete structure and the enclosure were now covered by water. The man stated to the interviewing intelligence agents that he had not been in communication, since 1945, with any of the other work crew of 16 or 18 men, which consisted of Russian, French and Polish POWs, and who had, the files note, ”discussed this incident among themselves many times.”
Here we have not just one, but two, cases of vehicle interference in 1944, seemingly provoked by the presence of a highly unusual, and very large, aerial vehicle of a definitive flying saucer-style. The implication, however, is that this engine-stalling technology did not originate in the domain of outer space, but with the Nazis.

nazi-ufo-above-boat

Those who can’t bare to think that UFOs don’t have alien origins will likely dismiss the case, or label it as disinformation – chiefly because doing so will help them to sleep better at night and keep their belief systems (which also double as their comfort-blankets) intact. Too bad for them.
The fact is that the Nazis were indeed working on far more than a few highly advanced and unusual projects during the Second World War. Just maybe, as these particular files strongly suggest, one of those projects involved the development of a circular-shaped aircraft that employed a form of technology that had a side-effect of disabling engines.
