UFO Hunters - Giant UFOs (Video)

UCAS-D Test Flights to Begin This Summer (Video)

By Dick Myers

Look up in the sky. No it’s not a UFO even though it may look like it.
The UCAS-D went viral on You Tube in December when it was being transported
from Edwards Air Force Base to PAX River. It sure looked like a UFO to a lot of people who saw it.

A second of the Navy’s Unmanned Combat Air System X-47B UCAS-D will arrive sometime in the near future to the Patuxent River Naval Air Station. The one already here is undergoing ground testing. Both will begin flying this summer on a route that is almost entirely out over the Chesapeake Bay, so the chances are small of seeing it unless you are out in a boat.
The UCAS-D program was explained to the county commissioners and other county staff on Tuesday at the regular meeting between the county and the Navy. Commissioner Todd Morgan (R: 4th) during the meeting assured the general public if they do see it that it really isn’t a flying saucer (although it does fly and does look like a saucer).
The briefing was conducted by PMA- 268 Navy UCAS Program Manager Capt. Jaime Engdahl. He said the Pax River testing this year is the second of three phases that began last year at Edwards with a F/A 18D Manned Surrogate and concludes next year with actual take offs and landings on the carrier USS Eisenhower.
The manned surrogate testing included an Autonomous Arrested Landing on July 2, 2011 and interim steps “to demonstrate landing technology and unmanned autonomous operations with safety/redundancy of a man in the cockpit.”
Engdahl describes what is happening this year as “shore carrier suitability testing.” When the actual flights begin this summer over the Bay, they will be manned, according to Jamie Cosgrove, the program’s public information officer.
According to Capt. Engdahl, “Successful testing reduces risks, builds confidence for X-47B carrier landing in 2013.”
The UCAS-D is envisioned as an unmanned option to the F-35 Joint Strike Fighter that is currently being tested at Pax River. The UCAS-D is being developed and tested for the Navy by Northrup Grumman.

Bolivia UFO a Hoax: Confession after Government Begins Investigation

By
February 16, 2012 / DBKP

A Bolivian man confessed the January 17, 2012, San Ignacio de Velasco UFO video was a hoax after the news the Bolivian government would investigate what could have been a violation of Bolivian airspace by a US ‘spyplane’, the mythical NASA TR-3B. The moral of this story, producing fake UFO videos could get you in hot water with the government.

Opinion.com.Bo, February 16, 2012, Google translation:
“The controversial video of the alleged occurrence of Unidentified Flying Object (UFO) in the population of Santa Cruz de San Ignacio de Velasco is a montage, he confessed the author of audiovisual material.
The sighting of an alleged UFO worried the government of President Evo Morales. Deputy Foreign Minister Juan Carlos Alurralde raised the possibility that it is a U.S. spy plane, which may have violated the national airspace.
“The fact that video is a montage. I am a producer and was working on a project and take advantage of special effects that had footage of the storm that night and started working, suddenly we had this idea, “Edgar said the author of the video to Channel A.
According to the producer, someone copied the video from your computer and the network went online. It also said it would never have imagined the number of visitors who had the film in the video site Youtube and less impact on the national press.”

Another ‘UFO’ hoax teachable moment: How a fake UFO video made it to mainstream media news as a possible legitimate sighting.

UNITEL filed a news report plastering their watermark across the footage.

Another mainstream news source cited a ‘security expert’ who claimed the UFO could be an unmanned drone from the United States. A surveillance drone used in the cocaine drug trafficking wars that flew up to “1200 kilometers per hour, per second”.

Yesterday, the news the government of Bolivia, concerned there might have been a violation of Bolivian airspace by a US ‘spyplane’, announced they were going to investigate the incident. The announcement of an investigation the revelation the UFO in the video was fake.

UFO - Chinook helicopter Airlifts a UFO, Feb 2012 (Video)

By Scott Waring

Date of sighting: February 2012
Location of sighting: Arizona
Arizona Footage of a Boeing CH-47 Chinook. Airlifts a craft resembling a alien disk! Look carefully at this disk like object which appears to have its landing gear down. The Chinook has a 50 foot long fuselage, the UFO however looks to be longer at about 53 feet. Since the Chinook can carry 33 passengers not including the pilots, then this UFO would be able to carry more since it would be 53 feet in all directions, rather only one direction like the helicopter.

Did JFK’s Assassination Result from Having Interest in UFOs?

Apr 19th in UFO Phenomenon

Though less famous than theories like whether Lee Harvey Oswald acted alone, many with interest in conspiracies about the assassination of U.S. President John F. Kennedy have also asked if he might have had access to information about UFOs before his death. But of greater importance, perhaps, is the question of whether this interest could have somehow actually been associated with his untimely assassination.
Now, according to an interview with author William Lester, The British Daily Mail has argued recently that this may have actually been the case. “Alien researchers say the latest documents, released to Mr Lester by the CIA, add weight to the suggestion that the president could have been shot to stop him (from) discovering the truth about UFOs,” the piece reads.
Granted, information pertaining to JFK’s UFO interest, as well as the inevitable speculation about his subsequent assassination, have been around for a while now. Writing for UFO Magazine last year, I pointed out in my article “All The President’s Little Green Men” that JFK had made references to distinguishing between “knowns and unknowns” while working with NASA director James Webb to secure a joint US-Soviet space program at the time. “One of his concerns was that a lot of these UFOs were being seen over the Soviet Union,” Lester notes. “He was very concerned that the Soviets might misinterpret these UFOs as U.S. aggression, believing that it was some of our technology.”
Though the Daily Mail points out that the documents containing the info in question were only recently released for the first time, obviously parts of this, and perhaps other information, have existed in the public sphere for some time (in fact, this 2000 article at the Rense.com website shows that at least one of the same documents mentioned in the Daily Mail piece has indeed been around for a while). But of perhaps greater interest is the mention made by the Mail of a classic document uncovered years ago, appropriately called the “burned memo” due to burn marks that suggest an attempt at it’s destruction. This piece, which famously contains the line, “As you must know LANCER (this was a code name for Kennedy) has made some inquiries regarding our activities which we cannot allow,” is a part of a number of famous–and controversial–documents pertaining to a purported series of UFO-related files called The Majestic 12 documents.
The authenticity of the directives contained in the so-called “burned document,” according to the website MajesticDocuments.com, “seems beyond question,” considering the variables present. These include original “onionskin” paper stock used to print the document, as well as red ink that has been matched with the proper time period forensically, counter intelligence stamps, and a handful of other points of interest. Indeed, it seems that the case to be made here is a good one (however recent or not), and well worth exploring further… if it were indeed found that JFK’s association with UFOs was valid, and could have even contributed to his death, what does it tell us about the serious treatment UFOs may be getting to this day by those in government?
