Aliens in 'The Avengers' revealed? (Video)

In the March 2012 British print edition of Empire magazine The Avengers producer Kevin Feige swats down longstanding rumours that the movie’s yet-to-be-revealed bad guys are the Skrulls – a green, knobbly-chinned race of alien shapeshifters.

“It’s not Skrulls,” Feige tells Empire, “I’ve been clear about that. Beyond that, we want to hide it. The identity of the alien race is not impactful. It exists in the comic books, but we’re not setting-up the Kree-Skrull war or anything like that.”

The Kree are a blue-skinned, humanoid race of aliens who for eons have been at war with the Skrulls and who have tangled with The Avengers in Marvel’s past – “so it could be them,” Empire speculates.

Empire’s guess work doesn’t end there, however: “It could also be the Shi'ar, a race commonly associated with The X-Men, but rights issues might make that difficult. And then there’s the bigger question: is Loki [Thor’s brother] the only major villain in the movie?” The mag then considers whether the “galactic powerhouse” Thanos might also make an appearance.

Despite Kevin Feige’s denial, it now appears that the Skrulls may indeed feature in The Avengers. While at Toy Fair 2012 this week, MTV Geek photographed the soon-to-be-released Avengers board game, which is based on the movie, revealing play figures it notes are “the spitting image of the shape-shifting Skrulls!”

As the New Year began, UFO reports went through the roof. Of course, one must be careful about reports of lights in the sky when there are celebratory fireworks being displayed. But the reports I am showing you have nothing to do with fireworks.

Within a 24-hour period, three, really well reported cases of sightings of triangle and cigar-shaped UFOs were logged in the state of Illinois. Check out Three UFO Sightings over Illinois, and be sure to comment if you so desire.

Report 1
I witnessed this with my 2 sons as we drove east from New Lenox to Frankfort, traveling down Laraway Rd.
Driving East down Laraway road this evening, I saw 4 rapidly blinking lights from red to orange. They were in a square shape formation, rotating and twisting and traveling East.
At times it looked like a straight line. I was driving and was awestruck... they were in the distance to East of me. They looked to be traveling a bit to the North, maybe following the I-80 expressway.
Then one broke off and it started heading North. Then the remaining 3 formed the classic triangle shape. The one that broke off moved out to the north, stopped, and stayed motionless.
The lights were unlike anything I had ever seen before. I live in an area where Midway and O'Hare airports are located, so I know what a helicopter and aircraft look like at night.
They weren't the normal slow flashing lights and these lights were flashing fast with more colors at times.
These lights looked as bright as LED Christmas lights that pulsed very fast, and were flickering. They also changed from red to orange and other colors in-between at fast increments; almost too fast to see but they registered.
They were brighter than any other aircraft lights that I've ever seen.
If you hear any more reports of this, please let me know. I honestly would like to hear that they were helicopters on a training mission form the military. But if so, they were the brightest helicopters I've ever seen.
I'm a 30-year-old man. I don't drink or do drugs. I'm on the level.

Report 2
I was driving through town (three blocks from my house) when I noticed some lights that seemed to be very low.
My first thought was an airplane, but then I saw that it was a triangle-shaped object. I was on a side street so I stopped the car to take a better look.
I could see a distinct triangle shape, with three lights on the bottom of the object.
The lights were white, red, and green, and the object itself was a dark black. Even though it was night, I could still see the outline and the fact that it was a solid object.
It was flying from north to south, and moving slowly. I was excited about seeing it and I do remember just being in awe over how it looked.
I did look at the time on my cell phone and it was exactly 6:30 PM. I watched it until 6:32 until I lost sight of it.
I came straight home afterwards and a friend sent me a text saying that she had just heard on her scanner that a military helicopter was in trouble and making an emergency landing at our airport. (About 4 miles from my house)
The scanner reported that the military helicopter had 3 people aboard, and was having engine trouble. (it landed safely)
The helicopter flew directly over my house in route to the airport, and I thought it was odd that this happened right after I had spotted the triangle object.

Report 3
Around 6:00 PM, I witnessed something unknown in the sky. I was leaving my apartment to get gasoline for my car.
As I was walking out of the building, I glanced left towards the sky and saw something insane. In the sky there were 2 huge, cigar-shaped objects. They were like huge, skinny rectangular objects.
Both had what looked like 5 flashing orange lights coming from square windows or something of the sorts. The one cigar-shaped UFO was slowly turned round and round counter-clockwise.
The one to the right of the cigar, seemed to move towards the rotating UFO, and then it crossed a path in front of it.
Now what appeared to be a black helicopter was hurrying around both of the UFOs. I have no idea what it was doing; Inspecting?
The whole event of my witnessing this took place under 30 seconds because I ran back to the apartment to have my mother and son come out and look at the phenomenon.
I was scared to death! As soon as we all came outside to look everything was gone.
Is there something going on in the Illinois sky? Anyone else from Illinois witness anything bizarre in the sky?

Paraguay: A UFO over Loma Pyta? (Video)

Is the incipient UFO wave in Argentina beginning to have a ripple effect to neighboring countries? Guillermo Gimenéz alerts us to a video posted to YouTube suggesting that Paraguay -- absent from UFO chronicles since UFOs were reported over the community of Luque in March 2010 -- has experienced "strange object" sightings.

The text accompanying the video states that a group of young men was playing soccer at a neighborhood football field when they were startled by the presence of red lights some seventy meters from their position. A boy from the community of Loma Pyta named Ulises González was the one who saw the unidentified flying objects.

"Ulises," reads the original text, "was alerted by his 4-year-old niece, who had seen strange lights in the sky. He was playing football with some friends only blocks away from the El Portal shopping center.

Ultimahora.com's newsroom was visited by Ronald Maidana, who said that the lights were two at first and later became four. "The formed a lazy L-shape, lying on tis back, and then headed westward toward Argentina," he explained.

Fran Drescher believes she was abducted by aliens.She claims that long before they were married, both she and her ex-husband Peter Marc Jacobson were abducted by aliens on separate occasions and in separate locations. "You know, it's funny because Peter and I both saw [aliens] before we knew each other, doing the same thing, driving on the road with our dads," Drescher told the Huffington Post recently. "We were both in junior high. A few years later, we met, and we realized that we had the same experience. I think that somehow we were programmed to meet. We both have this scar. It's the exact same scar on the exact same spot."

 



UFO Argentina: Latest Reports from CEUFO (La Pampa)

Several qualified witnesses claim having seen the movement of an orange triangular object with rounded edges and a round yellow center in the sky. According to two witnesses in the western part of town, they were able to distinguish and provide references for what they observed for nearly 5 minutes.

Around 22:30 on Sunday, a senior commander of the local firefighters, accompanied by another person, notified me immediately and provided broad details on the event.

One of the witnesses made it clear that the object was toward the southwest, at the height of a 33 KWH power line in the area. It later moved slowly northward. The object that drew their attention was mistaken at first for an aerostat, and followed closely due to the concern that it could kick off a new source of wildfires. But this concern was dismissed immediately.

He states that the UFO was a perfectly defined orange triangle with rounded edges and a pale-yellow coloring at its center. The object maintained its shape at all times and notes that its [apparent] size was some 35 cm per side.

This detail is not insignificant, given that he was able to highlight fixed references, estimating size and distance, from his standpoint. He further adds that the object remained visible for nearly five minutes and that the intensity of its light did not change at any moment. It made no noise and did not leave a wake.

The witness was at the entrance to his house, accompanied by another person who confirmed his statements. “I didn’t want to miss any details. We only looked and I didn’t even think to get the camera to photograph it out of a fear of losing it. We followed it with our eyes and lost it behind the hill that’s some 500 meters distant,” he said.

Early in the week, I was able to ascertain that several witnesses had seen the phenomenon and agreed with the observations of the initial witnesses.

A Cylinder with Lights

The repercussions of the aforementioned case have attracted new testimony, but the significant account, offered by an experienced aviator and his wife a week after this event, allow us to say that the phenomenon is displaying itself unabashedly in various sectors.

These two people state that on Saturday, 28 January, a large grey cylindrical object with three equidistant lights in its interior flew over them at low altitude.

The sighting occurred in [the town] of Miguel Riglos at one o’clock in the morning, and was seen from their back yard at the time that they were entertaining a relative. Both noticed a strange object with lights crossing the clear skies from the west, following a steady eastward path. It was a large grey cylinder with rounded edges and three white lights inside it.

A thunderstorm was approaching at that time, but the moment that the sighting occurred, the sky was clear. They stated: “The object was large, about the size of a pickup truck.” The fleeting vision startled them and they immediately headed to the other side without seeing it further.

That same day, at a time estimated to be the same as the recent sighting, other sources that prefer to remain confidential noted that while on their way to Macachín, a large opaque white light was seen suspended at the edge of Provincial Route One and that it turned off immediately.

With increasing assiduousness, more people are coming forward with significant details of UFO experiences. Societal awareness, emerging from research and dissemination of events, has forced us to be cautious.

There aren’t given times according to the calendar, nor sure-fire advice on how to be a witness. However, there are always triggers for this so-called anomalous phenomenon. The fact is that it is increasingly familiar, and in fact, the presence of strange forms, movements and maneuvers has drawn the attention of entire communities.

The significant number of arguments wielded as a result of the sightings that have taken place recent days leads me to believe that we are facing a new and evident flap of unidentified flying objects.

Freely and providing a wealth of details, qualified accounts from various professionals, with the unconditional support of their families – including young children – leads one to believe that for some reason, the phenomenon is making itself far too evident. In the last 15 days, the affluence of eyewitness accounts has been particularly rich and abundant.

The various maneuvers and movements of strange lights in the Pampean sky, particularly in the region of Macachín, Miguel Riglos and Alpachiri, are proof that an activity of unknown purpose has begun.

As a researcher of the UFO phenomenon, I only have to ask around town and the vicinity about the latest events. Word spreads quickly and new testimonies are quick to emerge. Some are exceedingly cautious; others, with total freedom, discuss the fleeting sightings with a variety of interpretations. With fervor and enthusiasm, the experiences are remarked and given the ease with which information is conveyed; the stories and evidence can be immediately evaluated. The possibilities are many, but as well as the eyewitness accounts, they all agree on one thing: intense UFO activity.

At this time, the number of sightings isn’t the only feature that draws our attention, but rather their persistence and the variety of opinion on the subject. According to the data received, the patterns appear to be the same. Manifestation of a strange light of considerable size in the clear sky, maneuvers and slow movement with a sighting that lasts up to five minutes.

Nearly all agree on having seen – at various altitudes – colored spheres of various sizes, some of which subdivide into equal parts at very low altitude and fly off before reaching the horizon. Spheres, triangles and stylized cylinders display themselves with majesty.

The testimony of the first witness and his companion, and that of the residents of the western area of Macachín, leads us to think that the maneuvering ability is far different from what we know. In a single day, with a minimum difference in time and cardinal points, the manifestation of these objects leads us to think that several maneuvers could have been involved, without necessarily being the same object. That is to say, more than one phenomenon could be involved.

A variety of shapes with variable sizes, with an [apparent size] of 15 to 70 centimeters. White, blue, green and orange lights ascending and descending, flying in a straight line or moving erratically, separating, making no noise whatsoever, leaving no traces and appearing close at hand, form part of the great mystery. What’s going on? Who’s mobilizing them? What is their goal? To these and hundreds of other questions we seek serious and objective answers.

UFO - Rewriting the rules in Ecuador

As if De Void needed more evidence of being a fraud in this “business,” I didn’t even know who Jaime Rodriguez was until tuning into a UFOTV documentary called “UFOs in South America: Disclosure Has Begun.” Now I gotta meet this guy.

UFO glasnost has been sweeping South America for years now, and the piece skims some of those treetops. But the revelation here, and its primary focus, is the work of one man — Ecuadoran journo Rodriguez — who’s been pressing his government for UFO disclosure since 1983.
Working for Ecuavisa television, Rodriguez managed in 2005 to wring a major concession from Ecuador’s mercurial now-ex president Lucio Gutierrez, a former army colonel who staged a brief coup d’etat in Quito in 2000. Rodriguez persuaded Guitierrez to actually live up to a campaign promise about UFO transparency (whoa Nellie!), and the result was the Committee for the Investigation of the UFO Phenomenon (CEIFO). Staffed with six civilians, including Rodriguez, CEIFO was charged with collecting enough “convincing” data to write a cogent appeal for the government to end its UFO information bottleneck. But promised funding never materialized. So Rodriguez and crew managed to scrape together $12k to pursue their documentary research over the next two years.
The real trick here was getting military eyewitnesses, fearful of destroying their careers, to talk about what they’d seen. The story took a momentum swing in 2007, after Rafael Correa was elected to the presidency. Correa directed Ecuador’s Ministry of Defense to allow military personnel to openly discuss their UFO encounters. Perhaps that was a direct response to the documentary’s most curious twist — an allegation that “economic and career incentives” extended by the U.S. to the Ecuadoran military was at least partially contingent upon keeping UFO data “concealed.” Unfortunately, the hour-long feature offers no specific evidence of this charge.
President Correa is the wild card in this mix. Buds with the Castro brothers, calling it an insult to Satan when Venezuela’s Hugo Chavez denounced George Bush as “the devil” in the United Nations, Correa was anti-gringo from the get-go. But the documentary claims the spit hit the fan in ‘08, when Correa discovered his military “secret services” had been financed by the CIA. He expelled Americans he accused of being CIA operatives, then ordered the administrative restructuring of his country’s national security network.
Then Correa did something really cool: He invited Rodriguez into a meeting with Ecuador’s top military brass, and directed them to give Rodriguez whatever resources he needed to access UFO material. Ecuador’s men, and presumably women, in uniform have been talking on the record ever since. Here’s a glimpse. These guys appear to be active duty:

Can you imagine USAF pilots talking this candidly about what they saw in the skies above Phoenix or Stephenville? Although this feature doesn’t nudge us any closer to solving the mystery, it serves up intriguing excerpts from some 400 mostly-civilian videos routinely confiscated and hoarded for decades by the government. One was provided by a former Ecuadoran vice president, whose outdoor birthday party was abruptly interrupted by a UFO as friends and family boogied below.
But forget the data. The biggest shift is cultural. The ridicule factor, says Rodriguez, appears to be collapsing:
“We’ve noticed there’s a greater sense of maturity among us now. The population has a more mature attitude toward the UFO phenomenon. This stimulates us to move our work into the analytical part of the subject, which is what we really need to focus on now.”
Don’t hold your breath waiting for Uncle Sam to jump aboard the Love Train. Last April, following the WikiLeaks debacle, Ecuador expelled the U.S. ambassador for cabling home that Correa appointed a police commissioner he knew was corrupt. In September, when Correa was in New York for a UN meeting, the mayor of Union City, N.J., canceled an event Correa was scheduled to attend due to Ecuador’s deepening economic ties with Iran and Cuba.
So it goes. But politics are transient. Keep your eye on the real ball here. When it comes to UFOs, Ecuador and a growing number of its neighbors are snubbing their noses at our rules.
