The Ancient Nukes Question: Were There WMD’s in Prehistoric Times?
By Micah Hanks
There are a number of ancient city sites throughout the world today, existing in remnants of lost metropolises and societies from the past, that boast curious, history-altering potential that are both incredible and terrifying. It seems very startling, for instance, that places like Mohenjo-daro, a once prosperous ancient city in modern day Pakistan, seems to bear trace evidence of some kind of cataclysmic event in it’s historic past that, even by today’s standards, remains difficult to explain.
Granted, if we are to utilize modern conventions available to us in the present day, a number of the peculiarities about this particular location can (and do) bear remarkable similarity to the aftermath of a nuclear explosion. The problem, of course, is to attempt to reconcile with the anomalies of places like Mohenjo-daro by asserting that nuclear explosions–the likes of which have been seen previously only at places like Hiroshima and Nagasaki during WWII–could have occurred thousands of years ago.
While I’m hesitant, as many probably should be, to say there is definitive proof of nuclear weapons being used in ancient or even prehistoric times, I don’t think it can be argued that nuclear events of some variety–perhaps even naturally occurring–did occur in Earth’s distant past. In my latest contribution to the ongoing series of anthologies released by New Page Books, titled Exposed, Uncovered and Declassified: Lost Civilizations and Secrets of the Past, I chose to address this rather touchy subject specifically. This is both due to the fact that the idea of ancient societies with advanced technology has always fascinated me, as well as the fact that I do think that a wealth of information exists that can be directly linked with prehistoric nuclear events.
One interesting example of this is an article that was penned by researchers Richard B. Firestone and William Topping, titled “Terrestrial Evidence of a Nuclear Catastrophy in Paleoindian Times.” The article appeared in Mammoth Trumpet Magazine‘s March 2001 issue, and recounted curiously high levels of radiocarbon data gathered from the Great Lakes Region of the United States. According to the authors, “The entire Great Lakes region (and beyond) was subjected to particle bombardment and a catastrophic nuclear irradiation that produced secondary thermal neutrons from cosmic ray interactions.” Indeed, it was a wide scale nuclear event dating back to Paleo-Indian times, and though the authors speculate that a supernovae might have been the cause for the event in question, it remains uncertain exactly what else could account for such an anomaly.
While this event (which I’ll argue does prove that nuclear events, albeit natural ones) could have occurred in our prehistory, places like Harrappa and Mohenjo-daro in modern day Pakistan present a number of problems that aren’t so easily reconciled. In addition to the presence of vitrified stone, the likes of which was discovered after being melted by the intense heat of the atomic weapons used in Japan during WWII, there have also been stories regarding incredible levels of radiation among the bodies of those found at Mohenjo-daro. Russian munitions expert and researcher Alexander Gorbovsky wrote in 1966 that the radioactivity in question was, in fact, as much as fifty times higher than average.
What could possibly account for such strange circumstances at the excavations of ancient city sites and other locations? Can we chalk all such instances up to being random acts of nature… which conveniently appear to have targeted specific metropolises of the ancient world? Must we consider that our ancestors could have indeed harnessed the power of the atom thousands of years before the Manhattan project performed its tests at Alamogordo, or could there be other scenarios (even otherwordly in nature) that are at play here?
Virginia company begins work on Wytheville UFO documentary
By Augusta Free Press
A wave of credible and dramatic UFO sightings swept the town of Wytheville from October 1987 well into the following year. With the 25th anniversary of the first sighting on the horizon, a documentary company, Horse Archer Productions, has launched a new project to revisit the events.
The story centers on WYVE news director, Danny Gordon, who inadvertently became the hub of the flap on October 7, 1987, when Wythe County Sheriff Wayne Pike called in his crime report. Pike told Gordon that four police officers, including some with military experience, had witnessed a UFO.
Within a few weeks, Gordon himself had sighted a strange craft and the town was buzzing with reports, most of which came directly to him. A press conference in mid-October drew national attention and by the following year, Gordon personally received more than 3000 reports.
Gordon took the only known photos of the craft in December of 1987 over a parking lot where over 100 witnesses, including a school bus load of students from Floyd County, saw several craft fly over.
The film, called “Strange Country: A Different Kind of UFO Documentary,” will approach the story from a unique angle according to Sean Kotz, who is directing and producing the film with partner Chris Valluzzo.
“Most of the time, UFO documentaries focus on the most outlandish aspects and are often marked by wild speculations or unfounded assumptions,” said Kotz.
“Instead, we are interested in the human story which is typically forgotten in these cases. What happened to the town and in particular, Danny Gordon, whose life was turned upside down by the ensuing attention and excitement?”
Valluzzo said the UFOs themselves would not be ignored in the film, however.
“It is a compelling case because there were hundreds, if not thousands, of individual witnesses and a variety of craft over the course of several months,” said Valluzzo.
“The witnesses were reliable people,” he added. “In fact, the National Enquirer sent a reporter who decided not to run a story because the people were just not weird enough!”
Kotz said that the reigning opinion is that it was some kind of classified military project, but there are some details that just don’t match up.
“First of all, why Wytheville? If you are trying to hide something, the intersection of two major highways is not a good place to do it.”
“Secondly, the B2 bomber and refueling exercise explanations don’t fit the facts. The majority of the unexplained reports feature noiseless, hovering, low-level craft.”
The film is scheduled for completion this year before the anniversary, but fundraising is ongoing.

'Snake Light' UFO Spotted over Florida (Video)
By Tom Rose
A UFO, shaped
like a brightly lit, writhing snake, was caught on tape along highway I-75 in
Florida. What is it?
The video shows
the view outside the window of a car winding down the highway, caught on what
appears to be an iPhone. So the image quality is not very high and the night is
extremely dark.
But it's easy
to make out what the camera is looking at as a group of unidentified flying
objects seem to drop from the air over a distant hillside.
The bright,
white and lighted orbs, never changing in color, are either hovering in the air
or descending extremely slowly. And they seem to be acting in concert as a
group, ruling out Chinese lanterns.
If the UFO is an example of a night-drop parachute team, they are
dangerously close to one another, stacked in a twisting, vertical line, much
like the slithering of a snake along the ground.
This sighting
is unusual because of the tightly packed action of the orbs, rather than the
"strung-out" appearance of the illuminated parachutes of a skydiving group,
civilian or military.
The lights do
not flicker or extinguish, so they also don't behave like lanterns or
flares. So what is
it? Here's the
video:
Reinaldo Rios UFO researcher supports Rihanna on her experience with UFOs
Reinaldo Rios leads a group of paranormal researchers in the field which also includes UFOs which openly offer their support and endorsement to Rihanna on their experiences with UFOs. His experience is known in the UFO world as close contact of the first type, which is to see the flying object distance. The much talked famous encounter of the third type would see the craft and beings, where Rihanna will have the opportunity to live in the film.
The popular singer used to sit with his father every night to try to see UFOs in the skies of his native town, Bridgetown, Barbados. This is an indication beyond curious that these beings are subliminally wanting something from the person. The aliens do not let the world see very often, if you could be an isolated experience, but when it becomes a habit to look for is the insistence by some, as happened to Rihanna and her father.
Although she humbly expressed only saw a shooting star once, does not rule out that there is something more ufologist and above all that desire to see them and look for a sign that something expect these creatures to her, or she will have a mission his life related to this issue and has started from publicly expressing his love of the subject and his debut feature film based on aliens.
"My father made me sit in the front door every night to go see UFOs. I saw none pass but never saw a shooting star once said, 'Yes! Dad come to watch this, '"public expressions of the artist.
Rihanna, who will fight against aliens in the new film 'Battleship', admitted that his role has made him even more to admire those who fight to defend their country.
Graphic - Singer Rihanna
"I do not doubt that it was the aliens who drove Rihanna to the movies that she may be a spokesman for great things, these influential beings often choose to take their messages that are among us," says Reinaldo Rios.
Indicates Reinaldo Rios do not be surprised to receive many attacks against them on their experiences with UFOs and that all who are active in this environment or who have expressed some affinity to the subject are attacked strongly, but do not be intimidated but much to do especially in the philosophy of alien life and we are not alone in the universe, and now her turn to find or define that it ought to do. One parcel would favor them or UFO port, which Reinaldo Rios is poor and could not have them.
"A good sign of gratitude to these people who no doubt took Rihanna to the big screen, then I would recommend creating a school of parapsychology, a great museum UFOs, a UFO port, or even a statue of an alien as a viewpoint in >one of the coasts of his native people "expressed Reinaldo Rios.
The researcher volunteers to orient or invite her to a search of its outward alien. Especially not drop the bad vibes, ask the aliens in the name of God to protect and help.
Nazis at the Center of the Earth Trailer Includes Flying Saucer
Say what you will about The Asylum, they seem to be on a roll in 2012. 2 Headed Shark Attack and Air Collision were both ridiculously entertaining, and the full trailer for Nazis at the Center of the Earth gives me hope the fun streak will continue.
Jake Busey (Starship Troopers) and Dominique Swain (Lolita) lead a team of Antarctic researchers that find more than they could ever have bargained for beneath the ice. Masked stormtroopers drag them deep underground to a fortress stronghold near the earth’s core where zombified Nazis led by the diabolical Dr. Josef Mengele are on the verge of unleashing the Fourth Reich upon an unsuspecting mankind.
Joe Lawson directs. Paul Bales scripts. Listeners of “Coast to Coast AM” with George Noory scream, “I told you so!”
Quiet Earth got hold of the exclusive full length trailer for this Asylum epic arriving on DVD and VOD on April 24th and its well worth a look. Nazis, zombies, UFOs, mad scientist experiments, hollow earth: only thing missing is Indiana Jones.
More On Katy Perry's Fascination With Aliens
By HollywoodNOW
Singer Katy Perry has once again spoken about her obsession with Aliens. Yes you've heard that right! Check out the video, to know more on Katy's weird fascination.
By MTV News

The video for Perry's "E.T." premiered yesterday and features the singer in a variety of extraterrestrial looks. The makeup is stunning, but it took some work to get there. "It was, like, five and six hours, each makeup look," Perry said. "It was hard for me! It was really a patience thing for me on this video. But, you know, it's like when you're doing a film. Sometimes you have to do prosthetics, and you have to get really old or turn into an animal or a monster — and that's kind of what this process was."
