UFO Conspiracy Theory Discussed by Anderson Cooper (Video)

Anderson Cooper has an open mind on a lot of subjects and in the video segment attached below he discusses the alleged UFO coverup conspiracy with MUFON Director John Ventre on Monday's show. Turns out, Cooper thinks the government is lousy at keeping secrets.

But it does point out that mainstream media personalities are much more willing to discuss this topic and that more people are beginning to take unidentified flying objects more seriously.

The focus of the segment was whether the US government is engaged in a conspiracy to keep the truth about so-called alien visitation a secret. It included witnesses who claim to have been contacted by extraterrestrials and discussed the increase of UFO sightings around the world in the last year.

No matter what one may think personally about these issues, it's clear that many people are willing to open up about their personal experiences and the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON) is making a record of those willing to share. More about the show can be found here. Here's a video of a short segment from the show:

The Aliens Are Coming—What If It’s True

The likelihood of alien landings will be explored at Lifetree Café on Wednesday May 2 at 7:00PM.

The Lifetree event, titled “The Aliens Are Coming—What If It’s True?” features exclusive filmed interviews with UFO researcher Stanton Friedman and Mutual UFO Network Director Clifford Clift.

“If intelligent life from other planets is visiting Earth, that has huge implications,” says Lifetree Café representative Craig Cable. “It affects politics, economics, and tExtraterrestrial Landings Discussed at Lifetree Café
echnology. It may even challenge deeply held religious convictions.”
Lifetree participants will examine evidence of alien landings, consider various sides of the debate, and share their own perspectives.

Admission to the 60-minute event is free. Snacks and beverages are available. Lifetree Café is located at 9000 Cypress Green Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32256.

Lifetree Café is a place where people gather for conversations about life and faith in a casual coffeehouse-type setting. Questions about Lifetree may be directed to George Treiber at (904) 731-0731 or gtreiber@comcast.net.

Exobots And Robonauts: The Next Wave In The Search For Extraterrestrials

2 Robonauts

Self-replicating robots could be the solution to making first contact with an alien civilization.
These proposed exobots could efficiently explore our local galactic neighborhood and help locate any extraterrestrials that may be sending radio signals in our direction.
After 50 years of searching the heavens with radio telescopes and coming up empty, the SETI Institute's search for extraterrestrial intelligence may need an extra robotic boost.

In the current issue of the Journal of the British Interplanetary Society, John D. Mathews, a Penn State University professor of electrical engineering, offers his vision of a future populated by helpful and cost-effective exobots.
"It's extremely expensive to put humans in space," Mathews told The Huffington Post. "It's relatively cheap to put robotic vehicles in space. It's the path I started exploring and realized along the way that maybe we've elevated ET to this sort of god-like creature with amazing technology, and maybe that's not true -- maybe that's why we haven't found ET."
Mathews suggests that extraterrestrials may be traveling the same path to the stars as humans are, sending robots instead of living beings.
"If we explore our solar system, we'll use robots first," he said. "Humans may follow, and we can't launch everything from Earth because of the cost. We need to have robots reproduce themselves. Furthermore, they would communicate using very narrow-beam laser systems. If ET is doing that, it makes them very difficult for us to see, except by accident."
NASA took its first step in using humanoid robots in space last year when Robonaut 2 hitched a ride to the International Space Station on board one of the final space shuttle missions.

R2 was created to help with specific tasks, and with many more robots planned for future space endeavors (like the two mechanical men at right), it's a natural leap to have robots help make that first contact with an alien civilization.
But there are still some who oppose reaching out to ETs.
In 2010, famed British astrophysicist Stephen Hawking said he believed aliens are out there, but cautioned against trying to make contact with them, fearing it might turn out very badly for Earth.
"Hawking is concerned about the possibility of betraying our presence, that, if they were to come here, it might not be good for us," said Seth Shostak, senior SETI astronomer. "It's hard for me to believe that they actually have (hostile) intentions on us," he added.
Shostak told AOL News that the search for aliens is like listening to a radio station: "When you tune in your favorite DJ, he doesn't know you've tuned him in, so there's no danger in SETI."
Mathews agrees that there's probably nothing to worry about if aliens pick up on any signals humans send into deep space.
"Unless there's a way around the limitation of the speed of light, it's very difficult for me to see why anyone -- why ETs -- would want to come to Earth in robotic form to do any harm. The barrier is immense, but if there's a way around the speed of light, all bets are off."
Check out this SETI video:

The Penn State engineering professor would like to see humans go back to the moon to establish a robotic factory. From there, he envisions sending exobots to asteroids to monitor the many large space rocks that pose potential threats as their orbits sometimes bring them close to Earth.
These exobots could aid the search for alien signals and might eventually intercept one from an extraterrestrial robot coming toward Earth. "As we go out into the solar system, we might actually find that ET is already here in the form of robots," Mathews said.
"We need to make decisions on what we will do when approached or when we discover that we're not alone, because I firmly believe we are not alone."

Did a UFO Sighting Cause Pakistani 737 Crash? (Video)

Unconfirmed reports indicate that the crash of a 737 in Pakistan last Friday may have been caused by a UFO sighting by the pilot minutes before the accident.

In the Russian news report below, rumors that air traffic controllers received a report from the pilot of the Bhoja Air Boeing 737 minutes before the crash on approach to the Islamabad airport included an account of being buzzed by a triangular-shaped unidentified flying object.

Pakistani officials have initially blamed the crash on a combination of extremely bad weather, pilot error and aging equipment. Eyewitnesses have stated that the jet was already consumed by fire as it approached the airport and was too low and traveling too fast.

Whether or not a UFO actually interfered with the flight or not is pure speculation at this point. It is whether the pilot believed an unidentified aircraft was interfering with the flight which is important, because of the resulting distraction and confusion.

Here is how Russian TV is reporting the incident. The video is in Russian, obviously, but enough information can be understood by the English language words used and the images inserted to understand what is being said.

UFO over Hurley, Wisconsin Caught on Video

By UFO Casebook

UFO ImagePublished on Apr 23, 2012 by simplecommentary
This video was taken in Bessemer, Michigan. This multi-lighted object hovered at tree-top level above the ballpark in Hurley, and was completely silent.
The submitter also added an interesting fact:
You all know we've seen video like this one before. But the fact that my dog was so spooked that morning adds a whole new dimension to it for me.
She has NEVER refused to go outside, even at night when a bear was present.
Hurley is a city in and the county seat of Iron County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,818 at the 2000 census. It is directly across the Montreal River from Ironwood, Michigan.

UFOs: About That White House Question

One of those longstanding questions relative to UFOs that consistently and constantly pops up is: If aliens and UFOs are indeed visiting us, then why don’t they land on the White House lawn and announce their presence to one and all?
Okay, I know it’s a question that is often asked in a light-hearted, tongue-in-cheek, or skeptical fashion. But, for some, it’s a question posed with utter and deadly seriousness. And so, keeping that in mind, just why might it be that “the aliens” – if they are among us - don’t land in full view of the President and his staff? Let’s take a look…
For many, the aliens should land on that green and pleasant piece of grass for one specific, and massively important, reason: To say “Hello” to the great Human Race. Pleeeez! The sheer level of never-ending human arrogance and ego-driven nonsense that populates our world never ceases to amaze me. In the bigger scheme of things, and as a species that has actually achieved anything significant (aside from finding better and bigger ways to destroy each other), we have been around for barely a millisecond.
Even compared to the dinosaurs, we are still definitive non-starters. Those beasts reigned for millions of years. The way things are going, we will be lucky to make it through the next couple of centuries! So, why should E.T. even bother to land and finally hang out in wide open fashion with a bunch of screw-ups like us who are likely not to last anyway? So, if we are being visited, announcing themselves to whoever might be hanging out in the Oval Office on the fateful day is probably the last thing ‘they” will have on their minds.

What about landing for Obama, right now, and warning us of our warlike ways, in the fashion that the Space-Brothers supposedly did back in the 1950s – albeit largely in the desert and just to a few handfuls of Contactees, back then? I say: Why bother even warning us? If, pretty soon, we’re likely to become the cosmic equivalent of the school-bully, why not just wipe us out? Ah, but, Ufology has an answer to this matter.

Such a question inevitably provokes a certain response from whole swathes of the UFO research community who chime in that the desire of the aliens to try and help us onto a better path – rather than exterminate us – demonstrates their kindness and benevolence. And, that rather than land at the presidential office, they prefer to work and weave their magic from afar. Really? Seriously? What, exactly, has E.T. ever done for us? Cured cancer? Saved the rain-forests? Found a solution to over-population, obesity, and our reliance on oil? Prevented a few Tsunamis, earthquakes and hurricanes here and there? The answer to all those questions is: NOPE!
Maybe, then, the visitors from beyond are just waiting for the right time to set down at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW. And when, exactly, might the right time be? Hell, with everything going belly-up, now would surely be as good a time as ever! They failed to show their strength and curb our warlike instincts after Hiroshima and Nagasaki. As far as I’m aware, no alien took a worried and concerned walk into the White House on the eve of the Cuban Missile Crisis. And where were they when 9-11 went down? Certainly not offering wise words to the administration about how to respond, and what the ramifications might be more than a decade later, that’s for certain.
The fact of the matter is that if our world is experiencing visitations from other-world entities, then hanging out with us, curing our ills, and making the future cool and fun – and doing so by making that historic landing at the White House – is simply not a part of their agenda. Let’s look at the evidence: if there is one thing we know for sure about the UFO phenomenon, it’s that it acts in distinct stealth. And, seemingly, always has done.
Alien Abductions, face-to-face encounters with long-haired characters in the deserts of California, cattle-mutilations, Crop Circles – all of them, in various ways, and in varying degrees of credibility, have been linked to the presumed presence of extraterrestrials on our world. But all of these phenomena have one thing in common: A distinctly clandestine approach. The collective body of UFO-themed data in-hand clearly shows that if E.T. is here, then it most definitely prefers to distance itself from the masses.
If certain factions of the UFO research community are correct, E.T. roams the skies in the dead of night, in search of the next poor soul to prod, poke and steal their DNA. It does likewise with our cows in darkened fields. And, even if there is a degree of positive alien-human contact, ensuring it often occurs to a solitary, and often already-eccentric, character in the desert, serves no major, meaningful purpose whatsoever.
So, with that all said, why don’t the aliens land on the White House lawn and finally, once and for all, announce themselves?

My answer – if aliens really are coming here - is very simple: E.T. is as self-serving, selfish, and as “in it for Number One” as we are. For so long, we have been assured that the aliens are going to make things right for us, that there’s a bigger picture we just aren’t quite seeing yet, that Disclosure is on the way (maybe even with the aliens’ help), and that one day, soon, that historic landing really will happen.
The reality, however, is that the White House has been standing for plenty enough years for the aliens to come and hang out in D.C. for a few days. But they don’t – ever. When it comes to the matter of that always-present and pesky question that is the subject of this article, what we find is that asking the question tells us far more about ourselves than it does about E.T. We assume the aliens want to hang and chat. After all, we’re the great Human Race, right? No, actually.
If life exists elsewhere in the Universe – and there’s probably a very good chance it does – then those races that have managed to steer themselves away from the extinction or collapse that threatens to engulf us may well have a distinct “seen it all before” attitude towards us. To us, we are Numero Uno. To them, we’re no big deal. A White House, a Blue House, a Purple-With-Yellow-Spots House, they evidently could not care less.
It can be argued with a high degree of credibility and solid data that there certainly is a genuine UFO presence among us, but it cannot be argued in the slightest that the phenomenon is anything but secretive, crafty, stealthy, manipulative, guarded, indifferent and unapproachable – unless it’s on their terms and their terms alone. And their terms clearly don’t involve dropping in for a bit of friendly, hostile, or indifferent chit-chat with the Prez.

Justin Bieber + Lady Gaga to Portray Aliens in ‘Men in Black 3′

‘Men in Black 3′ star Will Smith already spilled the beans that Lady Gaga would be making a cameo in the third installment of the extraterrestrial movie franchise, but now the word on the street is that Justin Bieber has been added to the list of ‘MIB 3′ celebrity cameos. The best part? Bieber and Gaga aren’t set to play just themselves, but aliens from another planet!
According to a report from Star Pulse, the Biebs and Mother Monster will portray “aliens who sit on a surveillance board, alongside kooky filmmaker Tim Burton.” Could this really get any better? Gaga and Burton are definitely eccentric, so seeing them as aliens in a film doesn’t seem all that out of the norm, but adding Bieber to this mix will surely make for an extra interesting scene.
‘MIB 3′ director Barry Sonnenfeld talked about their cameos, saying, “In this (installment) there are a few people that you’ll see up on the surveillance board including Lady Gaga, Tim Burton, who probably knows more about aliens than I do, and let’s see who else… Justin Bieber.”
We can’t wait to see this! We wonder if Bieber will have an extra head like Johnny Knoxville did in the second film, or if Gaga will turn into some kind of dazzling alien goddess who runs her own planet. We’ll just have to wait until May 25 to see what the ‘MIB’ masterminds have cooking.
Bieber and Gaga aren’t the first music superstars to have appeared in a ‘Men in Black’ flick alongside Agents K (Tommy Lee Jones) and Agent J (Smith). Michael Jackson showed off his acting chops by portraying a suited up fed in the second movie, and Nicole Scherzinger will also reportedly have a part in the newest ‘MIB’ movie.
