Worlds Biggest Transport Plane Buzzed By UFO, April 2012 (Video)

By Scott Waring

Date of sighting: April 2012
Location of sighting: Russia

It seems that anything that flys is a potential attention getter for any UFO, orb or alien drone. In this video we see a Russian plane, but not just any plane. This is the world's biggest transport plane is the Antonov AN-225. With a cargo capacity of over 250 tons, this plane can haul not just one, but three or four military tanks. That is one big attention getter...hard for this alien drone to ignore. I say drone because it doesn't look big enough for a pilot but who knows how big this species is? Size of the species does not determine it's intelligence.

The National UFO ALERT Rating System has been updated April 1, 2012, with California, Florida, Arizona, Michigan, Pennsylvania, New York and Texas moving to a UFO Alert 3 as the highest reporting states during the month of March 2012, filed with the Mutual UFO Network (MUFON).

California was the leading high-reporting state in March with 71 cases, the same number of cases filed in February.

Those states in a UFO Alert 4 category with 13 or more reports include: Missouri, North Carolina, Colorado, Ohio, Massachusetts and Virginia.

All other states move to a UFO Alert 5 category with lower numbers of UFO activity. The Watch States - with 10 or more cases - are New Jersey, Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana.

MUFON released March statistics April 1, where the total number of reported UFO sightings is listed by state. The UFO Examiner uses these statistics to rate states. The entire country was moved back to the lowest alert level - UFO Alert 5.

California takes the lead with 71 cases (maintaining 71 cases from February); Florida, 53; Arizona, 40 cases; Michigan, 30 cases; Pennsylvania, 30 cases; New York, 30 cases; and Texas, 24 cases.

Those states with 13 or more reports, the next reporting tier level, are a UFO Alert 4 status: Missouri, 21 cases; North Carolina, 20 cases; Colorado, 16 cases; Ohio, 15 cases; Massachusetts, 15 cases; and Virginia, 14 cases.

Saucer UFO Spotted Over Monument Valley (Video)

A video on YouTube shows a UFO zooming over the ancient rock formations dotting Monument Valley, California, on a brilliantly clear day. What is it?

The video is a snippet from what looks like a leisurely drive in the area, taking in the sights. As the camera sweeps past a particularly beautiful rock formation on the left side of the road, an unidentified flying object zooms past at high-speed overhead and nearly out of camera range.

There is no commentary on the video, except for an unintelligible phrase as the clip opens, so perhaps the photographer may not have been aware of the UFO caught on tape until it was reviewed later.

The object looks like no known aircraft. It's rounded, silver and shows no lights or markings. It passes at super high-speed, and the video includes two enhanced segments which only help to deepen the mystery rather than explaining it away as a jet or an airplane.

UFO lecture: Mysteries in the skies

By Jennifer K. Bauer

For 30 years Robert Hastings has traveled the college circuit with an out-of-the-ordinary lecture: UFOs exist, our government knows it and is keeping it secret.
"There's a sort of taboo on the topic of UFOs. If you see something and report it, or even have an interest in the topic, you're viewed as suspicious," said Hastings, 61, who will present "UFOs: The Secret History" at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the University of Idaho Administration Building Auditorium.

Mainstream science continues momentum in search for ET

Various discoveries by NASA and other organizations during the past few years have generated considerable interest within the mainstream media and the general public in the search for extraterrestrial life.

NASA’s Kepler space telescope has been on a planet-hunting mission since 2009, searching for Earth-like planets. The mission has already confirmed the discovery of 61 planets and found more than 2,000 planetary candidates. And recent data from the European Southern Observatory’s HARPS (High Accuracy Radial velocity Planet Searcher) planet-hunting telescope suggests that there are tens of billions of Earth-like planets in our galaxy alone, many thought to have the correct conditions to support life.

These recent discoveries have excited scientists, and are fueling additional efforts to search for life elsewhere in the universe. The Canadian Astrobiology Network (CAN), centered at the University of Western Ontario, announced today a partnership with NASA. The press release from CAN stated, “A number of extraterrestrial targets, including Mars and the moons Europa and Titan, have been identified by NASA as having the potential to host life or to provide valuable insight for researchers and scientists into the conditions that may have been present on Earth when life started.” As an affiliate within the NASA Astrobiology Network, CAN hopes to “strengthen existing ties, facilitate the establishment of new collaborations, and enhance training opportunities for both Canadian and American researchers and students,” according to CAN chair Neil Banerjee.
More exciting was today’s announcement that the Kepler mission will continue at least through 2016. Originally scheduled to conclude later this year, NASA announced today that funding for Kepler is being extended. Space.com explains, “NASA’s prolific Kepler space observatory, which has found signs of thousands of alien planets, will keep hunting strange new worlds for at least four more years.”
The development of new search initiatives and the continuation of existing successful missions are good signs that the momentum already built up by mainstream science in the search for extraterrestrial life is continuing, and, perhaps still increasing.
